Great news for the Chamber of Commerce's most recent members

The newly opened Carrick Chiropractic Clinic on 20a High Sreet, Carrickfergus will be providing a team of Chiropractors at the Belfast Marathon on the 3rd May 2010. Joanne Wilson D.C. and Marie-Josee Turmel D.C. have now secured the event and it will be the first time Chiropractors have been invited to treat athletes at the Marathon.

'We are very proud to be the first Chiropractors to be invited to the event. It is a great way to promote the profession, but above all fits in perfectly with our business mission, which is to be known for our services to the community in Carrickfergus and surrounding areas. Chiropractic care is great to help injury prevention and recovery, and is an integral part of many great athletes 'health strategy'.

Nearly 20 000 people take part in the Belfast Marathon, a mixture of runners, walkers and volunteers. These people come from all over the UK and by taking part, Carrick Chiropractic will support the event but also position the team as leaders in the field.

'This is fantastic news for the area as we expect to attract people from all over Northern Ireland who would not normally come to Carrickfergus. We know from experience that patients who regularly travel a distance to see us from the likes of Ballymena, Bangor and as far away as Dublin, stay in the town for lunch or a visit to the Castle. This will be a combined opportunity for our business to gain exposure and in turn to promote the town in a positive manner.
