Carrickfergus Harbour Festival 2011 will be bigger and better than before! A multi-cultural family extravaganza aimed at the whole community.
Running over 2 days with maritime themed circus performers & shows, the amazing Belfast Beat Carnival drummers and dancers, stilt walkers, acrobats & jugglers. Multi-cultural activities; Bollywood dancers, Chinese calligraphy artists, Indian henna artists, Chinese fan dancer, Irish dancers, Scottish dancers, Ulster Scots Music, & Blues Band. Adventure activities; 20ft climbing tower & giant garden games zone, sailboat rides and canoe racing, speciality food & craft fair & and vintage cars.

The Carrickfergus Chamber of Commerce & Trade has gone from
strength to strength in it's attempts to bring new life to the
town. The Chamber represents member's interests, encouraging
business growth, creating employment and promoting the
regeneration of Carrickfergus.
The Carrickfergus Development Company, as a project of the
Carrickfergus Chamber was set up to develop a Masterplan to
redevelop the town centre area from Fisherman's Quay along to
the Marina area and up to Tesco's incorporating the town centre.
The plan offers a unique opportunity to make Carrickfergus a
vibrant and dynamic place to shop, live and visit.
